Move over Losong, Bukit Tok Beng has come to claim her throne! Yes, it is true! BTB2209 located at Bukit Tok Beng, Seberang Takir IS THE MOST POPULAR keropok (fish snack) shop in Terengganu. People all over come to buy keropok lekor (fresh fish snack) or keropok keping (dry fish snack) for they produce the best quality, best tasting, boneless keropok and yet the price is reasonably cheap too (RM 1.00 for keropok 30cm long)! The shop located around the corner before Sekolah Menengah Ibrahim Fikri and open from Saturday to Thursday, 8.30 am to 6.30 pm. Here you have to take ticket (are we in bank?) just to buy fresh piping hot keropok because of the huge crowd waiting for it. Bored of waiting? Not to worry for they also have a cafe selling local delicacies and of course fried keropok while waiting for your turn. Oh please, it worth the wait! Today is first of Muharram, 1433 Hijrah. A day that marks Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him (p.b.u.h.), migrated (hijrah) from Mecca to Medina 1,433 years ago.
